Performance is the main success factor of any project. Nowadays, when everyone is looking for increasing the efficiency in order to gain competitive advantages, we understand that performance and efficient work can linked by technology, within safe, stable and clear work processes.
We are a team of over 30 graphic designers with more than 20 years of experience in publishing. Based on all challenges that we encountered throughout all those 20 years of experience, we’ve created our internal system, which help us produce any type of output (from print PDF to eBook and XML) files starting from any kind of input files (from word to latex and PDF text).
In order to have full control on our actions, we developed our own production system. The system main scope is to offer confidence to the team, prevent all ‘silly’ errors and to automate all monotone tasks. Creating manually the layout of a book is not only a laborious work, but it also implies many risks caused, for example, by the technical incompatibility between the source of the original manuscript and the tool used for layouting. We analyzed carefully the discrepancies between MS Word and Adobe InDesign and we started to think our process from this point.
Thanks to our workflow, we are able to achieve high quality for all the publications we create. We offer to our customers 99,98% accuracy for layouting and implementation of author’s corrections and that leads to our capacity of respecting all the agreed deadlines. We can work with any European languages and, as we have in our team native speakers of German, English and French, we are able to accurately implement authors’ corrections.
Our system is based on automated and semi-automated tasks and one of its main advantages is the portability to Adobe InDesign but also to any other tool used for layouting.
